What we collect
When you give, we receive your name, email, address and gift details from our donation provider. We do not see or store your card details.
When you email us or sign up for updates, we keep your name and email address.
How we use it
To process gifts and send receipts, to reply to your messages, and to send updates you asked for.
We never sell or rent your information.
Who we share it with
Only the services that help us run RAFIKI, and only for those purposes: our donation provider (Zeffy), our email newsletter (Mailchimp), our email (Google Workspace), our project records (monday.com), and the service that hosts and protects this website (Cloudflare). The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. Confirm this list
Photos of people
We ask permission before taking and sharing photos of people in the communities we work with, and a parent’s or guardian’s permission for children. If you would like a photo removed, email us and we will take it down. Confirm RAFIKI’s photo consent process
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, and ask us to see, correct or delete your information. If you are in Kenya, you also have rights under the Data Protection Act, 2019.
