What we have been up to

From the first site survey to the day the water flows: where RAFIKI works, and the people who make it possible.

We bring clean water in partnership with the communities who will use it.

Every project is planned together with the community, and drilled by our own drilling team or a trusted local drilling company.

Once the water flows, the well belongs to the community, who own it and look after it.

Water, and beyond the well

Most of our projects bring water: borehole wells, and ways to collect and store water. Once a community has safe water, it often asks for the next thing: a clinic, a classroom, a safe home for children, a way to earn a living. We build those the same way, with the community leading and owning the work.
